My family and I loved this recipe!!  The chicken was spectacular!  What a great dish and so simple to make.  Thank you!

This is a very simple recipe and takes very little time on the prep side which is very important to this single dad.  I usually brown the chops the night before and then refrigerate.  In the morning while I am screaming my boys to get dressed, quit teasing each other, brush their teeth and make their beds is when I somehow find time to get the remaining aspects of the recipe into the crock pot and make sure my belt matches my shoes.....this single dad loves this recipe.

What'cha need:

  • 4 boneless pork chops(I usually like thicker cuts)
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder(I usually add a little more - it masks the smell of dirty socks and sweaty children)
  • 1/4 tsp ground mustard
  • 2 cans of condensed chicken and rice soup(Campbell's seems to work the best - you can also use cream of broccoli if you can get your kids to eat it!)

What to do:

  1. Combine flour and seasonings in a gallon size plastic bag.
  2. Coat chops in flour mixture and then brown in a skillet with about 2 tbsp of oil. Just brown them.
  3. The next morning pour one can of soup into the bottom of the crock pot.
  4. Add browned chops.
  5. Pour second can of soup over the top.
  6. Cover and cook for 4-6 hours on low.
  7. Serve this with 4 cups of steamed white rice.

My kids love this recipe and I have no problems getting them to eat it.  Hopefully your kids will love it too.

Good luck and good eating!!
